Prenatal Classes Begin

Omni Pilates provides a weekly class for all mommy’s-to-be. Pilates is a low- to non-impact workout that increases flexibility, strength, and muscle tone. Because it focuses on your deep core muscles, practicing Pilates on a regular basis can alleviate backaches, relieve leg or foot pain, and ultimately help with labor and delivery.

Using current exercise guidelines provided by the ACOG and bearing in mind common anatomical and physiological changes that occur during pregnancy, appropriate STOTT PILATES® exercise adaptations are explored using the Reformer, Chair, and the Spring Wall in innovative and beneficial ways.

Workout safety and effectiveness remain paramount, and the certain client risk factors, pre-pregnancy fitness level, or health concerns may be accommodated. It is always wise to consult your OBGYN prior to beginning a fitness program.

Pilates is a great way to celebrate your pregnancy with other women. Additionally, it reduces stress and increases your energy level!

Classes held Tuesdays 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Be sure to reserve your spot with an instructor ahead of time. An introductory class is recommended prior to joining a group class, especially if you have special circumstances; however, this class is set-up to work with newcomers as well as experienced PiLadies. :)
