  1. Treat addictions- Whether you’re addicted to food, alcohol, drugs, smoking or gambling hypnosis can help you kick these habits by helping to regain control of thoughts and actions to make sure you’re making the right choices as well as alleviating the symptoms associated with addiction.
  2. Lose weight and keep it off- It has been proven to be 30% more effective than just dieting alone.
  3. Manage chronic pain- Hypnosis can help manage symptoms of diseases which aren’t able to be managed with drugs and diet alone. The relaxation and simple meditation techniques taught can help control, manage and even reduce the length of episodes of pain.
  4. Reduce Stress- Hypnotherapy puts you in a deep state of relaxation giving your mind and body a chance to recuperate, repair and heal itself.
  5. Help deal with childhood issues- They are something almost everyone has that could still be impacting you today whether it’s by causing you to make bad decisions, have a lack of self-esteem, or to not take very good care of yourself. Hypnotherapy can help replace those negative messages about yourself with positive ones.
  6. Cure sleep disorders- Sleep disorders can range from insomnia, wakeful sleep, sleepwalking, inability to fall asleep and so on. Whichever may be your case, the bottom line is your mind and body aren’t getting the proper amount of down time they need in order to function correctly. Many of these disorders are associated with psychological problems that hypnotherapy can help cure.
  7. Promote deep relaxation- Relaxation has many benefits for the mind and body. It can help you become more creative, less irritable, and help reduce health problems. Overall deep relaxation through hypnosis helps you to feel healthier and more alert.
  8. Help to change your behavior- Often behavioral patterns are learned in childhood, however hypnotherapy can help to get rid of the old behavioral patterns and replace them with more appropriate new ones. It can help you identify what the real underlying issues are that make you react the way that you do and help you to improve on them to not only benefit yourself but the people around you.
  9. Recover buried memories- All of the experiences you’ve had throughout your life are buried in your brain somewhere. Hypnotherapy can help you to recover those memories whether they be to help you understand why you act the way you do today or just to remember happy memories you may have forgotten.
  10. Treat anxiety and depression- Hypnotherapy is a very effective and drug free way to calm anxiety and treat the symptoms of depression.

I didn't realize that there were so many conditions that hypnotherapy could help with. I'm most impressed that it can help people get over sleep disorders that they might have. Although, it makes sense since you might be able to suppress the bad memories that are keeping them from sleeping or something like that.

By accessing our subconscious mind through hypnosis, sleeping patterns can be restored to normalcy.

I kind of want to try hypnotherapy now. I didn't know that it could help you become more creative. That's something I could appreciate, especially when I'm coming up with an idea of what to paint.

I had no idea that hypnotherapy could help with so much. It's great that it can help with sleeping disorders. I have the hardest time falling asleep at night, so if hypnotherapy can cure whatever the psychological problem is, I should try it!

Hypnotherapy really has some great benefits. I love the fact that it can even help someone deal with childhood issues. My wife hates talking in front of groups because of some thing in her past, so maybe she should try this out.

I had no idea that that hypnotherapy can help cure sleep disorders because hypnotherapists practice dealing with psychological problems and often times insomnia is psychological in nature! My sister has a huge difficulty falling asleep, and she's tried many different methods, but still is struggling with insomnia. After reading this article, I can see that insomnia is more than just a challenge, it's a psychological issue that hypnotherapy can help cure. I'll recommend that she look for a reliable hypnotherapist in her area to help her understand her insomnia and reduce it, that she can sleep better.

I've been having some trouble sleeping at night lately because I'm having some weird dreams that turn into nightmares. It's good to know that I can get hypnotherapy done to make my psychological problems disappear. I think I'll go to a specialist so I can finally sleep well at night.
